Answer:

x  = \frac{1}{3 + 2 \sqrt{2}  }

we need to find

 \frac{x - 1}{x}

so on putting the value of x in above equation

we get

 \frac{ \frac{1}{3 + 2 \sqrt{2}  } - 1 }{ \frac{1}{3 + 2 \sqrt{2} } }

 \frac{ \frac{1 - 3 + 2 \sqrt{2} }{3 + 2 \sqrt{2} } }{ \frac{1}{3 + 2 \sqrt{2} } }

 \frac{1 - 3 + 2 \sqrt{2} }{3 + 2 \sqrt{2} }  \times  \frac{3 + 2 \sqrt{2} }{1}

  \frac{ - 2 + 2 \sqrt{2} }{1}

 =  >  - 2(1 +  \sqrt{2} ) \\ will \: be \: your \: answer
