hey

it must be square.

so ,

a+b=-b/a

=-k

ab=C/a =k

therefore..

k can be any square root vue that is

4

x2+4x+4

ans

taniya707: have a little bit of confusion regarding the process.

 {x}^{2}  + kx + k

has repeated roots i.e. both the roots are same

delta=0

 {k}^{2}  - 4k = 0 \\  \\ k(k - 4) =  0 \\  \\ k = 0 \\  \\ k = 4 \\  \\ if \: k = 0 \\  \\ x = 0  \: is \: the \: root\\  \\ if \: k = 4 \\  \\ x =  - 2 \: is \: the \: root \\  \\

hope it helps.
