HI !
I think the question is wrong, It should be x⁸  -  y

x⁸  - y

This can be written in the form of identity (a-b)(a+b) =a
² - b²
= (x
⁴)² - (y⁴)²

= (x⁴ + y⁴) (x⁴ - y⁴)

(x⁴ - y⁴)  can be written in the form of identity (a-b)(a+b) =a² - b²

 (x⁴ + y⁴) ({x²}² - {y²}²)

= (x⁴ + y⁴) {x² + y²} {x² - y²}

{x² - y²} can be written as (x+y) (x -y)  { identity}

= (x⁴ + y⁴) {x² + y²} {x+y} { x- y}

Hope this helps you !
