Solution

y = cos2t

dy / dt = - sin2t × 2. ....(1)

x = sint

dx/dt = cost. ....(2)

divide equation (2) by (1)

then,

dx /dt = (- cost )/( sin2t × 2)

[sin 2t = 2 sin t cos t ]

therefore

dx/dt =( -1)/ (4sint )

dy/dx = -4Sint  ,  x = sin t, y = cos 2t

Step-by-step explanation:

dy/dx

x = Sin t

y = Cos2t

dx/dt  = Cost

dy/dt  = -2Sin2t

=> dy/dt  = - 2 * 2Sint Cost

=> dy/dt  =  -4Sint Cost

(dy/dt)/(dx/dt)  =   -4Sint Cost / Cost

=> dy/dx = -4Sint
