x^2 + 100x - 30000 = 0

(Converting in a+b+c.)

ax^2 + bx + c = 0

a =1 , b = 100 , c=  - 30000

Now,

quadratic Formula =  \frac{-b(+/-) \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}  }{2a}

Putting the values

 \frac{-100(+/-) \sqrt{100^2 - (4*-30000)} }{2}

= [tex] \frac{-100(+/-) \sqrt{10000+120000} }{2} [/tex]

 \frac{-100(+/-) \sqrt{130000} }{2}

 \frac{2[50(+/-) \sqrt{32500}] }{2}

hence,

Roots are :-

50 +  \sqrt{32500}

and

50 -  \sqrt{32500}

i hope this will help you
