The average age of X will be 29

From A we come to know that X is 30 or less that 30

From B we know that A is 21 or more

From C we realise that his age can be 28 to 33.

As all A B C are right X age can be 28 or 29 or 30.

Average is defined as the sum of all the observations divided by the total number of obseralvations.

Average= Sum \:  of \:  all \:  values \:  / Total \:  no \:  of \:  values

Average = (28+29+30)/3

= 29

So the average age of X or the average positive value of X will be 29

There are three main types of average

  • mean
  • median
  • mode

  1. The mean is just the average of the data given
  2. The median is the middle number in the data
  3. The mode is the number that is repeats the most in the given data.
