X was asking other people his age. A said that the age is not more than 30. B said that is age is greater than 20 for sure C said that is age between 27and 34. if A B C were correct. then what is the average positive value of X
Answers
(28+29+30)/3=29
The average age of X will be 29
From A we come to know that X is 30 or less that 30
From B we know that A is 21 or more
From C we realise that his age can be 28 to 33.
As all A B C are right X age can be 28 or 29 or 30.
Average is defined as the sum of all the observations divided by the total number of obseralvations.
So the average age of X or the average positive value of X will be 29
There are three main types of average
- mean
- median
- mode
- The mean is just the average of the data given
- The median is the middle number in the data
- The mode is the number that is repeats the most in the given data.
