x(x+1)+8= (x+2)(x-2) check whether this a quadratic equation or not?? ​

Solution :-

x(x+1) + 8 = (x+2) (x-2)

x² + x + 8 = x² - 2²

x² - x² + x + 8 + 4 = 0

x + 12 = 0

Since, Highest power of the variable is not 2

Hence, It's not a quadratic equation.
