 \frac{x}{x + 1}  +  \frac{x + 1}{x}  =  \frac{36}{15}  \\  \\  \frac{x}{x + 1}  +  \frac{x + 1}{x} =  \frac{12}{5}  \\  \\   \frac{ {x}^{2} +  {(x + 1)}^{2}  }{x(x + 1)}  =  \frac{12}{5}  \\  \\ 5(2 {x}^{2}  + 2x + 1) = 12( {x}^{2}  + x) \\  \\ 2 {x}^{2}  + 2x  - 5 = 0 \\  \\ 2 {x}^{2}  + 2x  = 5 \\  \\ 2( {x}^{2}  + x +  \frac{1}{4} ) -  \frac{1}{2}  = 5 \\  \\  {(x +  \frac{1}{2} )}^{2}  =  \frac{11}{4}  \\  \\ x =   \frac{ - 1 +   | \sqrt{11}  |}{2}  \\  \\ x =   \frac{ - 1 +  \sqrt{11} }{2}  \\  \\ x = \frac{ - 1  -   \sqrt{11} }{2}

hope it helps.
