QUESTION:-

If (x+y)²=25

and +=13

Find,xy=?

SOLUTION:-

Expand (x+y)²

Using Identity-->(a+b)²=a²+b²+ab

=>++xy=25

From Given Use + value

=> 13+xy=25

xy=25-13

xy=12

(x+y )²=25

So , x²+y²=13 then xy is equal to how much value ?

\huge\bold\blue{AnsWer}

→ (x+y)² = 25

→ x²+y²=13

So, according to the question we have to Find xy=?

By Expand (x+y)²

Identity (a+b)² = a² + b²+ 2ab

→ x² + y² + 2xy = 25

From Given Use x²+y² value

→ 13 + 2xy = 25

→ 2xy = 25 - 13

→ 2xy=12

→ xy = 6

Hence the " xy" equals to 6
