x/y = 2/3
⇒y =3x/2
also, 2/x =1/2
⇒x = 4
putting this value in above equation,
y= (3×4)/2 = 6
so, x= 4 and y =6

In the ratio x:y = 2:3
⇒2y = 3x
∴ y =3x/2  ----------(1)
In ratio  2:x= 1:2
 x= 2×2
∴x = 4
Substituting x= 4 in (1)
⇒ y = 3x/2
⇒ y = 3(4)/2
⇒ y = 12/2
∴ y= 6
