x + y = sqrt2 ---(1

sinA *x + cosA x = 1 ____(2

Solution

from ----(1

x + y = sqrt2

x/sqrt2 + y/sqrt2 = 1

We know that

Sin(π/4)= 1/sqrt2 = cos(π/4)

so

x sin(π/4) + y cos(π/4)= 1

cofficieant of x = sinπ/4

cofficieant of y = cosπ/4

Now from -----(1

cofficieant of x = sinA

cofficieant of y = cosA

so

sinA = sinπ/4

A = sin^-1sinπ/4

A = π/4
