Given :-

x + y = 2 ...... eq(01)

x - y = 3 ...... eq(02)

To Find :- Value of x and y

SOLUTION :-

Adding equations 01 and 02

x + y + x - y = 2  + 3 \\  \\  \implies 2x = 5 \\  \\  \implies  \boxed{x =  \frac{5}{2} }

Subtracting equation 02 from equation 01;

x + y - (x - y) = 2 - 3 \\  \\  \implies x + y - x + y =  - 1 \\  \\  \implies 2y =  - 1 \\  \\  \implies \boxed{y =  \frac{ - 1}{2} }

Therefore the equation is solved.
