Hi ,

It is given that ,

x + y/3 = 9

=> y/3 = 9 - x

=> y = 3( 9 - x )

__________________________
x | y = 3( 9 - x ) | ( x , y )
__________________________
0 | y = 3 × 9 = 18 | ( 0 , 18 )
__________________________

9 | y = 3( 9 - 9 ) = 0 | ( 9 , 0 )
__________________________
7 | y = 3 (9-7) = 6 | ( 7 , 6 )
__________________________

Therefore ,

( 0,18 ) , ( 9, 0 ) and ( 7 , 6 ) are

three solutions bod given equation.

I hope this helps you.
