Hey here is your answer
____________________________

1. x + y = 3
x = 3 - y

let y = 1 ..... then, x = 3 - 1 = 2
again y = 2 ..... then, x = 3 - 2 = 1

solution of equation
x | 2 | 1 |
y | 1 | 2 |

============================

2. x - y = 4
x = 4 + y

let y = 1 ..... then, x = 4 + 1 = 5
again y = 2 ..... then, x = 4 +2 = 6

solution of equation
x | 5 | 6 |
y | 1 | 2 |

Simultaneous equation
==================================☆
if,

(x+y) = 3--------(1)

(x-y) = 4-------(2)

Hence,

Hence,

Now Adding both equation.

x+y= 3----------(1)
x-y = 4-------(2)
+ ______________
2x = 7

x = 7/2

So,

Putting value of x in equation first,

x+y= 3----------(1)

7/2 + y = 3

y = 3-(7/2)

y = (6-7)/2

y= -1/2

So, values of x and y are

x's 7/2 =3.5

y's -1/2 = -0.5
