x - y = 3 \\ 5x + 4y = 26\\ \\ multiply \: by \: 4 \: in \: eq.1 \\ 4x - 4y = 12 \\ 5x + 4y = 26 \: \\ adding \: both \: the \: eq. \\ \\ 9x = 38\\ x = 38/9 \\ \\ y = 11/9

HOPE that it will help you ✌️ ✌️

ishucutee: 5x-6y=20

x - y = 3 ...(1)

3x + 4y = 9 ...(2)

from (1)

x = 3 + y ...(3)

put the value of equation (2)

3x + 4y = 9

3(3 + y) + 4y = 9

9 + 3y + 4y = 9

7y = 9 - 9

7y = 0

y = 0

put the value of y in equation (3)

x = y + 3

x = (0) + 3

x = 3

Hence Solution (x,y) = (3,0)
