Just multiply 1st by 2,
And add both equations,
5x = 35
X = 7
Put x in 1st,
Y = 2

3(x-y=5)
:3x-3y=15--eqn 3
subtracting eqn 2 by 3
3x-3y=15
-3x+2y=25
:. -y=-10
: y =10
substituting y=10 in eqn 1
x-10=5
:x=15
