x²+y²=(x+y)²-2xy or, (x-y)²+2x

Given that, (x+y)=15 and (x-y)=5

So, 15²-2xy=5²+2xy

→225-25=2xy+2xy

→4xy=200

→xy=200/4=50

Hence, xy=50

Therefore, (x²+y²)=5²+2×50=125.
