Hi

We ll start with the first eqn

x + y = 5

x=5 - y.......(i)

y + z =3

z = 3-y........(ii)

x + z = 4.......(iii)

Put values of x and y from (i) and (ii) eqns in eqn (iii)

5-y + 3-y= 4

8 - 2y= 4

2y= 4

y=2.......(1)

Put (1) in (i) and (ii) eqns

x= 5-2

x= 3.......(2)

z= 3-2

z= 1.........(3)

(1), (2) and (3) are the answers

Hope this helps!
