We ll start with the first eqn
x + y = 5
x=5 - y.......(i)
y + z =3
z = 3-y........(ii)
x + z = 4.......(iii)
Put values of x and y from (i) and (ii) eqns in eqn (iii)
5-y + 3-y= 4
8 - 2y= 4
2y= 4
y=2.......(1)
Put (1) in (i) and (ii) eqns
x= 5-2
x= 3.......(2)
z= 3-2
z= 1.........(3)
(1), (2) and (3) are the answers
