x:y = 6:5, (5x+3y):(5x-3y) =?

Given :-
x:y :: 6:5
Let common ratio be p.
So, 6:5 = 6p:5p.
x = 6p
y = 5p.

Now, 
(5x+3y):(5x-3y)
Putting values of x and y..
(5 X 6p +3 X 5p):(5 X 6p - 3 X 5p)
(30p + 15p):(30p - 15p)
= (45p) : (15p)
= 3:1.
