\mathsf{x - y = 3}

\mathsf{Adding \ both \ these \ equations.}

\mathsf{We \ get}

\mathsf{2x = 9}

\mathsf{x = 9/2}

\mathsf{Put \ this \ value  \ in \ 1st \ equation.}

\mathsf{We \ get}

\mathsf{y = 6 - 9/2}

\mathsf{y = 3/2}

x-y=3 adding the both equation

. '. x= 9/2


Substituting the value of x in equation (1)

x+y= 6

9/2+y=6

. '. y= 6-9/2

. '. y=( 12-9)/2

. '. y= 3/2
