hey here is your answer
(x+y)(a+b)+(x-y)(a+b)
=(x+y)×(a+b)+(x-y)×(a+b)
= {(x+y)+(x-y)}×(a+b)
={x+y+x-y}×(a+b)
=2x×(a+b)
