Put x = y | We see that the given equation isn't satisfied and hence, x is not equal to 1

Now, simplify :
 \frac{x}{y}  +  \frac{y}{x}  =  - 1

 =  >  \frac{ {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2} }{xy}  =  - 1

 =  >  {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  + xy = 0

Multiplying ( x - y ) both sides :
({x}^{3}  -  {y}^{3} ) = 0
Hence, the desired value is zero
