if x + y + z = 9 , and ,xy + yz + zx = 26 , than , find the value of x^2 + y^2 + z^2 = ?

  • (a + b + c)² = a² + b² + c² + 2ab + 2bc + 2ca

|| ✰✰ ANSWER ✰✰ ||

→ (x + y + z) = 9

Squaring on both sides we get,

→ (x + y + z)² = 9²

Now, using above Told formula in LHS, we get,

→ x² + y² + z² + 2xy + 2yz + 2zx = 81

→ x² + y² + z² + 2(xy + yz + zx) = 81

Putting value of xy + yz + zx now,

→ x² + y² + z² + 2(26) = 81

→ x² + y² + z² = 81 - 52

→ x² + y² + z² = 29 (Ans).
