{\huge{\underbrace{\pink{\mathcal{ANSWER\:\checkmark}}}}}

 \longrightarrow \:  {x}^{2}  - 4x + a = 0

  • It has no real roots ..

  • It means Discriminant must be negative (smaller than zero)

  • D < 0

In this equation ,

A = 1

B = -4

C = a

D = B² - 4AC

D = (-4)² - 4×1×a

D = 16 - 4a

As , D < 0

so,

16 - 4a < 0

16 < 4a

4 < a

a > 4

  • a is greater than 4 ,
  • it means a belongs to (4 , infinity)
