x^2+9x+20

x^2 = 1x^2

multiply 20 and 1

ans= 20

factorise 20 in such a way that when factors of 20 is added their sum must be 9 ---> middle term

Then it will be like

x^2 + 5x + 4x + 20

Take out common terms

x(x+5) +4(x+5)

             here5 is the factor of 20 = 5×4 ( 4 has been taken as common) next, take out x+4 and x+5

(x+4) (x+5)

steps will be

   x^2 + 9x + 20

= x^2 +5x +4x + 20

= x(x+5) +4(x+5)

= (x+4) (x+5)

I know that these much big answers are not needed but this I think it will be more helpful for you
