Given :  polynomial x³-x²-(3-√3)x+√3

To Find :  Check polynomials has x+1  as a factor or not

Solution:

If x+1    is a factor of polynomial x³-x²-(3-√3)x+√3

Then x = - 1   will result in 0

Substitute x = - 1  in x³-x²-(3-√3)x+√3

=  (-1)³ -(-1)² -(3-√3)(-1) +√3

= - 1 - 1  + 3 - √3 + √3

= 1  ≠ 0

Hence x + 1 is not a factor of polynomial x³-x²-(3-√3)x+√3
