Given x - y = 5.

On cubing both sides, we get

(x - y)^3 = (5)^3

x^3 - y^3 - 3xy(x - y) = 125

x^3 - y^3 - 3xy(5) = 125

x^3 - y^3 - 3(66)(5) = 125

x^3 - y^3 - 990 = 125

x^3 - y^3 = 1115.

Hope this helps!

Thomson: can you make it some more simple
siddhartharao77: This is the simple method bro
Thomson: can you tell which formula did you use
siddhartharao77: (a-b)^3 = a^3 - b^3 - 3ab(a-b)
Thomson: Thank You So Much.It helped a lot i am preparing for My Exams
