1)Climate condition, rainfall, wind erosion, temperature, etc. are factors that influence the formation of soil.

2) Products obtained from forest are not limited and we can utilize such products for commercial as well as personal use.From forest, we are obtaining wood items like timber, fuel wood, while non-wood items like edible fruits, nuts, medicines, different herbs.We can get rubber from the trees in the forests, it is used for many purposes of daily basis and for manufacturing tyres.

3) Energy minerals include coal, oil, natural gas and uranium. Minerals have a wide variety of uses. For example, iron (as steel) is used in cars or for frames of buildings, copper is used in electrical wiring, and aluminium is used in aircraft and to make drink cans.

4) Land is used for agriculture and cultivation of crops .

→It is also used for grazing or can be left unplanted.

→ Land resources are used for forestry and non-agricultural uses. E.g. construction of roads, buildings, etc.
