xy=3,yz=1,zx=2 then the value of xsquare+ysquare+zsquare is?

xy=3;yz=1;zx=2
(xy+yx+zx)=6
2 (x+y+z)=6
(x+y+z)=3
squaring on either sides
(x+y+z)square =3 square
therefore (x+y+z)square =9
x square + ysquare + zsquare =9
