\bigtriangleup XYZ \cong \bigtriangleup XZO

Step-by-step explanation:

given that : XYZ is an equilatetal triangle

XY = YZ = XZ

to prove : \bigtriangleup XYZ \cong \bigtriangleup XZO

proof :

in \bigtriangleup XYZ

XY = XZ

therefore \angle Y = \angle Z (angle opposite to equal sides are equal)

now in \bigtriangleup XYZ and \bigtriangleup XZO

XY = XZ (given)

\angle Y = \angle Z ( from above)

\angle P = \angle O = 90{^\circ}

therefore by RHS congruency rule

\bigtriangleup XYZ \cong \bigtriangleup XZO

hence proved .
