FORMULA USED.....

let \: y =  \frac{a}{b}  \\  \\ than \: differentiation \: of \: y \: is \: given \: by \\ the \: formula \\  \\ dy =  \frac{( {b}) \times d(a)  - ( {a}) \times d(b) }{ {b}^{2} }

USING THIS FORMULA

y =  \frac{x - 1}{x + 2}  \\  \\  \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{(x + 2) \times d(x - 1) -(x - 1) \times d(x + 2) }{ {(x + 2)}^{2} }  \\  \\  \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{(x + 2)(1) - (x - 1)(1)}{ {(x + 2)}^{2} }  \\  \\  \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{x + 2 - x + 1}{ {( x + 2)}^{2} }  \\  \\  \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{3}{ {(x + 2)}^{2} }
