Applying F=ma,
Force applied = 0.5 kg x 16 ms^-2 [using the first object]
= 80 N
Mass of the second object = 80 N / 4 ms^-2
= 2 kg
∴Acceleration of the whole system = 80 N/(0.5 kg+2 kg)
= 3.2 ms^-2

F=ma=0.5*16=8 N
F=ma
8=m*4
m=2 kg
Total mass=2+0.5=2.5 kg
Force = 8N
F=ma
8=2.5*a
a=8/2.5=8*10/25=80/25=3.2 m/s2
Pls mark as brainliest :-)
