Given :-

$\sf{\dfrac{4}{5} \: , p \: and \ 2 \: are \: in \: A.P.}$

To Find :-

$\sf{What's \: the \: value \: of \: p ?}$

Using Identity :-

$\sf{if \: a \: , b \: and \: c \: are \: in \: A.P.-}$

$\sf{then \: , \: 2b = (a + c)}$

Solution :-

$\sf{\dfrac{4}{5} \: , \: p \: and \: 2 \: are \: in \: A.P. -}$

$\sf{2p = \dfrac{4}{5} + 2}$

$\sf{2p = \dfrac{4}{5} + \dfrac{10}{5}}$

$\sf{2p = \dfrac{(4 + 10)}{5}}$

$\sf{2p = \dfrac{14}{5}}$

$\sf{p = \dfrac{7}{5} = 1.4}$
