Mean = sum of outcome / no.of observation mean yield in his field = 10+7+5+3+9+6+9 / 7 = 49 / 7 = 7 quintal per year

Given :

Yield of soyabean per acre in quintal in mukund's field in 7yrs was 10,7,5,3,9,6,9

To Find :

find the mean of yield per acre

Solution:

Average = \frac{\text{Sum of all observations}}{\text{No. of observations}}

We are given that Yield of soyabean per acre in quintal in mukund's field in 7yrs was 10,7,5,3,9,6,9

Average = \frac{10+7+5+3+9+6+9}{7}\\Average =\frac{49}{7}\\Average= 7

Hence  the mean of yield per acre is 7
