This is about the last month incident while I was on-board local train (Navi Mumbai to CST) to my office. Just after the Vashi station I saw a few heavy iron pieces over the track & seems that track is bit damaged. I quickly called the railway control room & they investigated the track within 15 minutes after my call. They confirmed that track is bit out of shape. Somebody intentionally tries to damage the track, they might try to steal iron joint which was installed last week only.  Officials halted the down trains for 2 hrs. & replace the damage piece with new one. After 3 hrs. train services were normal on the route. Sometimes being careful & cautious can save the lives of many. Due to damage on track train might get derailed. Everyone was happy that there was no major incident. We should not & also not let the damage & harm the national properties as all built by our hard earned money & TAX.

During summer vacation my family planned a trip to Siliguri. I have an elder brother Marc, aged 15 and a younger sister Teena who is four years of age and mom home schools her. We were quite excited about the journey by train. We also looked forward to the leisure and scenic beauty of Siliguri. We left for station in time to reach well before the departure of our train.

We were sitting on a bench at the station and train was about to come on the platform. Beside us, there were two young boys who must have been around twenty years. I was quite amazed to see their dressing style and demeanor. Nevertheless, the train arrived and we boarded our coach. The two boys were also in the same coach. I checked all the nearby seats, and space under them for caution.Everything was fine. Suddenly there came another man, dressed in black, who met those two boys and gave a packet which looked solid and heavy. They kept it beside them and in a wink of an eye they were gone.

Their absence alarmed me as it was almost time for the train to leave. I quickly went to my father and told about my doubt. Dad was quick enough to call one of the railway officials and report the matter. Within no time, two policemen came with a sniffer which tried to smell the packet the boys had left. It was immediately taken out of the coach. There was a huge throng that gathered at the station and the scheduled time of departure had already passed. People started talking about many similar incidents they knew of.

It was discovered that the packet had some locally made bomb which would have exploded in another hour, i.e. the time the train would have left the city. With pulsating hearts we went back to our seats and train started moving away. I still remember if I had not raised alarm and dad had not acted in time what would have happened to all of us.
