Dear Savita,

Recently, I had a conversation with a bird and asked it whether it will stay with me if I provided it with quilts, velvet bed and satin pillows. But the bird refused saying that it was rather comfortable in her ivy wall. Then, I offered it a diamond and amber necklace for staying as a pet but the bird was happy with her feather necklace.

The poem, "Birdie, Will You Pet?" by W. Allingham only goes on to show that freedom is valued a lot by the bird instead of worldly attractions. I also learnt a lot from her.
