Dear Karan,
It's a pleasure to write to you again. I hope everything is going well for you in Kullu. I've missed you, and I know you feel the same way. As you may know, I enjoyed reading and was named Library Prefect. As the Library Prefect, I am responsible for assisting the Librarian whenever possible. My responsibilities include managing the borrowing and return of books from the school library. I make sure that all of the books in the library are correctly accounted for. I make sure that every borrowed book is documented accurately and that the names and classes of the borrowers are recorded. Doing this daily has helped me become more accountable; I now pay close attention to the details of this role.
One of my responsibilities is to keep the library neat and organised. When students are in the library looking for books to read, make sure they are doing so in an orderly way. Despite the indications on the shelves, some students, particularly Junior One students, have no idea how the books are arranged on each frame. In such cases, I direct them to the appropriate section while advising them on the types of books to read.
When students have finished reading, I make sure the shelves are neatly arranged, and the library is always clean. I do this with the assistance of the school librarian, who offers advice based on her wealth of experience. This made me more responsible because I learned that responsibility comes from being given a leadership role.
I wish I could continue writing, but I must stop here. I hope you will soon share your personal experiences with me—my best wishes to your parents and siblings.
Yours sincerely,
Kunal
