You are an employee of a mining company. Your company is blatantly overlooking (failed to notice) the National Mineral Policy, 1993 (for Non-Fuel and Non-Atomic Minerals). It is not using scientific methods for mining. The managers are hiring local poor labourers to dig out minerals from the bowels of the earth. The managers seem completely ignorant of the fact that forest, environment, and ecology should be protected from the adverse effects of mining. And the waste metallic scrap which is getting generated in the mining process is being dumped in the nearby forest area.
Questions:
1. What will you do?
2. What are your duties as a responsible citizen in such situations?
