I did a great job today! The school participated in a tree plantation drive on the occasion of World Environment Day celebrations organized by Municipal Corporation of the city. I along with the Ecological Club of our school planted trees and flowers in the empty piece of land adjacent to our school building. The team consisted of 50 boys and girls. and each member planted 10 saplings. I also planted 10 saplings. The most interesting thing is each member was made to take pledge of ensuring nurturing of the plants. It means each member who planted the sapling, will have to take care of the saplings on daily basis until the saplings become adult trees. It will be wonderful! This will increase the survival rate of planted saplings. At the end the members whose success rates will be highest, will be honored by the Mayor of the city. I feel these types of campaigns are a must to save our environment from pollution. I really enjoyed planting the saplings. I am so excited about nurturing them. I will daily give them water and put manure to them for their healthy growth!

Dear Diary,

Today is the world's environment day and I decided to do something amazing and helpful for environment today so I decided to take care of one of those planted trees that are next is my school so i will be taking care of one of them. i will go there everyday to water it and i will see what is required for it. I feel amazing and Happy doing so because I love environment and I love to take care of it.

so i think it is one of my best decisions taken as even my parents also praised me for this.
