CBSE BOARD X, asked by Callmearyaman, 1 year ago

You are Ankita / Akash, a resident of C-4, Janakpuri, New Delhi. There is an acute water
shortage in your area. In spite of repeated requests the Municipal Corporation has done nothing.
Write a letter to the editor of a local daily drawing the attention of the Delhi Jal Board

Respected Sir/Madam,

On behalf of the residents of Janakpuri, I pen down the concern regarding the crisis of water in our area. Our area is experiencing the fresh water crisis for almost 6 months now. We made requests to the authorities of Delhi Jal Board but, we did not get any response from them. There were 6 requests made by the locals in the last six months and none of them had a response.

Our area is densely populated and we are facing acute shortage of water both for drinking and for washing. Our daily activities are affected greatly. I kindly request you to publish an article/ story so that the municipal corporation would understand our situation and take necessary action.

Thank You,

Yours Respectfully,
