Good morning everyone present here. Respected principal, vice-principal, teachers and my dear friends. I stand before you to express my gratitude on being elected as the head boy of the students’ council.
This appointment demands lots of responsibilities. Being head boy does not mean I have the power to do anything or strut the corridors bossing over students; it means I have the responsibility to ensure everything is perfect in the school. I will have to be a perfect role model in academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities also.
Well there were many reasons behind why I wanted to be a head boy. First and foremost reason is I want to take part in school activities actively. Being in the House Appointment means more responsibility; I want to test myself whether I am capable of shouldering these extra responsibilities or not.
Secondly, being in House Appointment gives you an exposure to develop leadership qualities in you. I want to develop these qualities in me.
Thirdly, I want to be part of bringing glory to the school by maintaining discipline, participating in extra-curricular duties; it is possible only if I am selected in the House Appointments. I pledge, once I am given any appointment, I will do my level best in carrying out the duties and responsibilities assigned to me.
Thank you
