Good morning everyone!
It is wonderful meeting everyone at birthday parties and weddings. Yet when it comes to patriotic national holidays, we prefer to stay home, wake up late and laze around. There is no excitement and no celebration whatsoever. Luckily for us students, we can always depend on our school to organize the celebrations.
Imagine not being able to live freely. Imagine not being able to express yourself. Fortunately, we lead comfortable lives simply because many heroes dedicated their lives to building our nation. Can we as blessed citizens, not remember their efforts, get out of bed and be grateful for what we have? Being home, one tends to become lazy, but in school, one is able to fully savour the celebrations.
Also, the flag hoisting ceremony is best enjoyed at school, in the company of many others. It is a simple case of the more the merrier, just like it is at parties and weddings. If we can be excited about birthdays and get-togethers, it is high time that we felt the same excitement on Republic Day and Independence Day and celebrate together in school.
