Dear Sir
The purpose of this letter is to highlight the issue of stray dog menace. Our neighbourhood is witnessing a surge in the number of stray dogs and dog bites. Each day a resident has an encounter with a stray. People get chased and bitten on a daily basis. It has become unsafe particularly for senior citizens and children to even step out of home. Though the municipality officials insist that they are nabbing the strays and putting them in the city pound, we residents do not see such activity in our neighbourhood. I urge the authorities to kindly act before the city goes to the dogs.
