If some plants are provided in the laboratory for identifiction of their division, following steps are to be followed. *If a plant possess flowers on its stem - Angiosperm. *Small non-flowering plants with roots as cluster of fibres and flattened flesh leaves - Moss *If the specimen is green and its body is undifferentiated into leaves, stem and roots. It is a thallus - Algae *If the specimen is colourless. Its body has slender thread like filaments called hyphae which can be either segmented or unsegmented strunctures. It has small knob like structures filled with black dust like spores - Fungi *If the plant has cones. The naked seeds without enclosures - Gymnosperm.
