Case-1

Ammeter:-

It is a device which measures the flow of current in circuit.

If the resistance of ammeter is greater than according to ohm law the current it draw is lesser.

Which is not possible for an ammeter to measure right current flow in circuit because the current will reduce.

Case-2

Glavnometer:- It is a device which measures the small amount of current along with the direction of current.

If it has high resistance then it doesn't measure small amount of current that's why it has low resistance.

Case-3

Voltmeter:- It is a device which measures the potential difference between two points in a circuit.

It has high resistance so it doesn't draw much current from circuit.

Note:- A ideal voltmeter has infinite resistance.
