You are given with ethanol , con H2SO4 , acetic acid .Can you prepare a fruit smelling pleasant substance from these items ? if yes how ?

Yes you can produce fruit like smelling substance called as ester.

There is a reaction where acetic acid reacts with ethanol in presence of an acid for eg H2SO4 to give ester

The reaction goes as following

CH3COOH + C2H5OH ---H2SO4---- CH3-CH2-CO-O-CH2-CH3
