A seminar on the Importance of Blood Donation' was organised by the All India Medical Institute, Delhi, last evening. Some very eminent doctors and philanthropists took part in the seminar. All the speakers underlined the importance of donating blood for the cause of saving valuable human lives. Blood donation was ranked as the highest form of service to humanity and the best form of worship of God. A blood donor, it was pointed out, loses nothing in terms of money or health. But he or she earns all blessings of the Almighty and unbounded gratitude of the one_ who receives this life-saving gift. Impressed by the views expressed by the speakers, many of the audience pledged to donate blood at least once a year.

Blood Donation Seminar in College

On 13th September 2022, CDE College organized a students' seminar on Blood Donation on the College premises. The Seminar aimed at sensitizing the students and staff about donating blood. The speaker invited for the discussion was the famous doctor and speaker Dr XYZ. She talked about the details of blood donation including who can donate blood, which blood group is suitable for which one, what precautions to be taken before donating blood and how to look after yourself after donating blood.  The session was followed by an interactive question and answer round in which the speaker cleared the queries of students on the topic. The message was received well by the audience, who took a keen interest in knowing when they can donate blood and displayed eagerness to donate blood. The seminar was a successful event.
