Report:

I am a member of eco club of school. Few days ago, our team has prepared a project on water pollution. We first evaluate the causes of water pollution.

The following are the causes of water pollution:

• Water pollution is due to the physical disruption of land due to building of houses, industries, roads, etc.

• It is due to chemical pollution from industries, mines, etc.

• It also due to insufficient sewage collection and treatment

• Water pollution is due to increase in fertilizers to grow more food.

• The main cause of water pollution is litter, which causes disease and has a negative visual influence.

Then we suggest various strategies to control water pollution.

Following are the strategies to control water pollution:

• We should not pour fat from cooking or any other type of fat, oil, or grease down the sink.  

• We should not dispose of household chemicals or cleaning agents down the sink or toilet.  

• We should not flush pills, liquid or powder medications or drugs down the toilet.

• We should avoid using the toilet as a wastebasket.

• By avoid using a garbage disposal.
