Dear diary,
Today was my first day at the cook house, I was not used to the atmosphere of the confined place. I dearly missed the route marches, lessons on rifles and other various technical and operational training i loved to enjoy. I was not happy with my nomination as a permanent house cook.To add to my worries, my colleagues mocked me. it was quite disheartening to me , but even after being well-informed, I was assigned this job. They broke my dream of getting a commission. I also protested against peeling potatoes and explained to them that by doing so they removed their vitamins. My whole day was very unpleasant for me.
