Respected Sir,

I'm writing this letter to make you aware about the criminal incidents taking place in the local areas and the society. This terrifying act has increased in our city. Everyday, we see a lot of incidents of theft and chain snatching on television and newspapers.

These activities even cause physical harm to the victims. Nowadays, women are much afraid and they even hesitate to walk alone on the road. They just think that some chain snatchers will come and take their gold chains from their necks. A lot of cases are filed in the Police Station too, but no suitable action is taken to stop these activities. And this is why, people have lost faith on police.

So, I would kindly request you to start daylight patrolling and also take steps towards reducing the fear of people from these so called criminals, the chain snatchers.
